After following several tutorials from here, I decided to tackle an actual store-bought pattern.  Let me tell you, I like tuts much better!LOL  I bought a "Lazy Girl Designs" pattern and it is NOT for lazy girls!

Here's the font of the bag:

I had purchased a 3 pack of fat quarters that looked summery or springy to me.  I think it turned out nicely, but it was a bit of a trial to put together.  Craftsters explain things much better!

That purse is perfect for summer.  You did such a good job.  I love the rainbow colors.

Thanks!  I thought it turned out cute.  I figure that I can use it on weekends with fun stuff.  During the week I have to generally wear boring clothes for work!LOL
