I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in a pet rat and mouse themed swap?

We could either make items for each other's pets, such as

a mouse pouch/rat bag: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=80477.0
a rat hammock http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=12066.0
a rat igloo http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26991.0
or maybe some rat toys like a see-saw

or we could make items for each other with ratties on them/rat themed, such as a cute rat stuffed toy or a nifty rat hat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26677.0.

There are a ton of cute ideas for rattie crafts at the Ratty Corner http://www.rattycorner.com/.

I would love to organize, if there would be anyone else who would like to participate.  Cheesy
Please post if your supporting!  Grin

Oh yes - all rats, all the time! I actually own a rat shaped candy/soap mold and a rodent shaped cookie cutter. I've knit stuffed rats, made rat hammocks, embroidered pictures of rats.....

This would be really fun! I've got two pet rats at home, and doing a rattie swap would be very fun! (Or mousie swap, either way. ^_^)

Yay!!

Aw, what a CUTE little rattie in your avatar!  Is it a hairless? -- I adore hairless rats, hehe.  Cheesy  I had one myself.. he was more like a patchwork hairless though -- he was hairless except for a bit on his head and back that would fall out and grow in again, it was so funky, but he was the softest little thing.  Smiley

Yep, he's hairless Smiley his name is henry wrinkler. My sister said the name kinda as a joke, but it stuck because we couldn't stop saying it! Henry is a total maniac, but I adore him. He has to live by himself because he doesn't get along with any of my other rats. So, he needs lots of cuddly bedding to keep him warm! Wink

Aww, he sounds sweet!  Cheesy  I am really missing my little hairless rattie right about now.

To any and all who are interested in this swap theme.. when would be the best time for me to arrange it?  Cheesy

For me, signups in mid-late May would be best. I have 2 other swaps for which I need to send in late May. This also might give us more time to recruit more people. I think there are lots of rat people on craftster.

I can't get over Henry Wrinkler Smiley Oh, to come up with such a brilliant name!
