I also sent out pm's to people in the group swap.

I'm also thinking of something here... let me know what you think - Since the side swap groups are uneven I could join both groups and send out everything I received to everyone else (so instead of getting 3 or 4 mix cd's everyone would get 9, but only have to send out to 4 people) let me know what you think. The people in group 1 would have to send out to one more person than listed but would receive 4 more CD's and still only be sending to the same amount of people as everyone from group 2. Does that make sense? Basically I'd copy all the cd's I recieved and mail them out to everyone along with my CD.

Well, that's one possibility, but will it be too much work/$ for you?  I'd be cool with making copies and sending to all.  Or even sending you extra copies.  Whatever other people want to do, I'm game.

Pieces,

Joanne

Edited to add that I'd be interested in receiving everyone's.  There wouldn't really be 9 copies going out for any of us, either, would there?  I'm assuming uneven means 9 people, we each already have our own, and some of us will already have our partners, so that's down to 7.  I suppose we could always work out private swaps with each other if necessary, though.

This is going to be a lot harder that I first thought.  Which cover to put.... I can make a cd of the covers of the covers.  ie. Tom Waits Runaway Train- done by Rod Stewart- also done by Anything But The Girl.  Ahh!!

Rod Stewart is nothing compared to the remake of Suffragette City I have.  It's none other than Mary-Kate Olsen.  I didn't believe it at first and got a good 3 minute laugh from it.  Oh and don't worry neither of those artist will appear on the cd's Smiley

lol....I love David Bowie!  (I can't even imagine an Olson Twin covering Bowie.)  That said, ever heard Bowie's co-cover of Dancing in the Streets with Mick Jagger?  Actually, I'm not sure the song itself is so bad, but the video is terminally 80s, and everytime I hear it I see Bowie and Jagger in these bad clothes hopping around in these spastic dance moves....
