Anyone interested in a knitalong for the Hedera socks from the Spring '06 Knitty?  I've ordered some cotton yarn in emerald green and I'm hoping it will work for this pattern...

I love knitting lace, and I've just finished my first pair of socks, soooo a pair of lacy socks seems the next logical step!
Whad'ya say?

I want to make these eventually.  I'm knitting spring IK Simply Lovely Lace Socks which is the same style as Hedera. I'll take a break from lace socks and join this KAL eventually.

I was just about to start the lace socks in the spring IK when these came to my attention.  It was a hard choice, but in the end, it came down to gauge, and Hedera was(were?) perfect for the yarn I chose.  Still waiting for it to arrive...I hope it gets here soon!

I'm in!  Cheesy I have two skeins of Brown Sheep Cotton Fine in New Age Teal that should work great for this pattern. This will be my first pair of socks for me, and first pair of lace socks! Wish me luck!

Still waiting!  I got the slip in my mail box to pick up my package, and I was so excited, I ran out to get it without looking at it.  If I had, I would have seen that my package won't  actually be available until tomorrow afternoon - aargghh!  But yay!  I can't wait to start them.

I have some recycled yarn that I think would be perfect for this project (95% cotton, 5% spandex). I am definately interested!

I am having a heck of a time getting gauge with cotton fine. Am going to try with a different yarn. Stay tuned.  Wink
