Hi all, i'm fairly new to all this knitting stuff but really need a bit of helpful advice.

I'd like to tackle a jumper (my first) for my 3 year old son so I'm looking for a pattern thats good for a beginner. I've been scouring the web and have found lots and lots but they all seem to be either plain or a bit 'dated'.

I'd like to find something that has a simple design on the front that would appeal to a boy like a lightning flash or a scull and crossbones.

Does any one have any idea where i could look??  Huh

There is a Skull and Crossbones sweater in Zoe Mellors 'Adorable Knits fot Tiny Tots'.

Check your libary, mine is tiny and has about 15 kids knitting books and will order more through Inter-library loan.

You can see pictures of the patterns in the more popular knitting books on this Australian site.
