I'm going to a Dresden Dolls concert on Monday, and I couldn't figure out what to wear...these are the products of shopping and not finding what I wanted.

I love these wings that I found on stencilry, and they were my very first shot at stenciling.  You can't tell from the picture, but they're done in silver.

I tweaked the image from their new album Yes, Virginia to make this top...definitely my favorite of the two.

I'm pleased with my first foray in to stenciling and really looking forward to trying more detailed pieces soon!

Those turned out great!! What material did you use for the stencils? I thought your Shaun of the Dead stencil turned out good Wink

Lucky, lucky you going to see the Dresden Dolls.  They have their album up on myspace and it is soooo good.

Thank you Smiley

Technically, the SotD stencil I did, I kinda cheated...lol.  I just traced the design on and painted it.  I called it a stencil for lack of a better definition.  But thank you!!!  Your stencil is actually what prompted me to try my hand at it in the first place.

I'm so excited about the concert I could wet myself.  I've never seen them before and this is a huge treat for me, granted by my bestest friend Cheesy

tashaaa, if you ever get the opportunity, see them!!  It was seriously one of the most amazing things I've ever done in my life.  They're even better live than they are on disc.

oooh! Those turned out very nice! I like the Yes, Virginia one, but the wings are very pretty! Where they hard to do? I've been kicking around the idea of stenciling wings on the back of a shirt for a long time, but I've been afraid to . . .

Ooh and I'm going to see the Dresden Dolls Thursday, huzzah!
