so this is the first dress i've made. it fits beautifully. the straps are a bit big but i'm not worrying too much. i got the fabric for 2 bucks at salvation army. they used to be curtains & there was alot of fabric. this dress was half inspired by laurasaurus' milkmaid dress & a made up as i go pattern. hopefully you all enjoy it. Smiley

Awwww that is really nice! My sister had sheets with that fabric a long time ago ^^ I think it looks cuter as a dress. And love the sweetheart neckline!

Btw, just curious...was your username inspired by Jack's Mannequin?

i've been looking for a dress like this!
i'd pay good money for one, if i could FIND ONE.
i may have to break down and make one.
(i love sewing but i'm in the process of moving so sewings kind of hard  Embarrassed)

do you have to wear a strapless bra with it?
I've been thinking of making one, but I'm sort of having trouble with that concept.  Cheesy[I don't own one, and I'm a tightwad.]
