This is my 2nd ever handbag.  I'm starting to get the hang of it and I'm having fun designing my patterns.  This is made from cotton fabric and reinforced with lightweight cotton batting.  It is about 7 x 11 with a short strap.  I made it to be a fun daytime purse- for luncheons with the ladies or browsing at the shops  Cheesy
Opinions?  What would you do differently?

Different?  Nothing!  I love this bag.  Smiley  I've been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to piece together the construction in my head.  Wink  After seeing this, I am suddenly itching for a bright, springy handbag...

That is a beautiful bag and I'm planning on voting for it in the Spring Bag challenge.  It was my favorite so far in the batch.  Very nice design, practical and I love the colors and springy pictures.  I LOVE IT!!!!  Cheesy  And 2nd bag ever?  Wow!!!!!

This bag is absolutely gorgeous -- I love it.

Meanwhile, I've got a construction question. You say that you used "lightweight cotton batting" -- do you mean like quilt batting? Or interfacing? And did you  fuse it in there at all or just sew it in?

Thanks in advance -- lovely, lovely job.
