hey!
I've been inspired! A local art gallery had a day in the life photo swap, exhibit, and it totally rocked! Immediately i thought it would be a neat thing for us craftsters to do, but after doing some research i found that princessdukki already beat me to it. Anyone up for a round 2 of this fun swap? http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=28255.0

And here are the original details.
Take 36 pictures, average 5 a day, over the period of a week. Whether you use film or digital doesn't matter, as long as you can put your pictures into an album. Meaning, you'll need to have prints if you do digital. Show your life at its finest (at its dullest is fine too... we're not all fascinating people). Make doubles of your pictures (triples if you want to keep a copy, or if you would want to be prepared to compensate for flaker's, you kind-hearted generous person you). If you like, you can write some descriptions on the back of the pictures, to explain your reason for taking exactly that picture, or to explain your feelings about the picture. Put the pictures into some cheap 36-page photo albums*, and swap! You'll send the albums out to two different people, and in return you'll get albums from two different people. In this swap, I think it would be amazing if everyone would be willing to send to people from different countries (though if you can't or won't I understand), because it would just be awesome to see different cultures living out their week!

The only thing i would change is maybe a lil journal to go along with the pics, or some sort of explanation. anyone else interested?

This sounds like fun! I'm pretty new to Craftster and I've never done any swaps. Can I still participate? I promise to follow the rules!
Please, pretty please?!

I had an idea.... could we use handmade books to put our photos in? My sister is an awesome book maker and has walked me through it a couple times. I have some handmade journals that i could use with the little stick-on photo corners. It's fun to make them with interesting covers and rubber stamps, etc. Just a thought, I don't want to make it too complicated. Smiley
