OK.  I want to show off a little here.

Her "princess dress". (Simplicity 5695)  I made for a trip last summer to the Renaissance Festival.  She loves it.  She was asking to wear that dress almost every morning for about a month.  I gave in last weekend.  She wore it grocery shopping!  She got a couple of extra free samples at Sam's club.

Then, her "Doggie Costume" from Halloween 2005.  She was dressed up just like the dog across the street!  She picked out the color for the ear ribbons.   This one is Simplicity 4440.

oh my goodness. that is just TOO CUTE.

i love the dog costume... once i have a child, im going to have to make her a dog costume that looks like my black pomeranian! then they can be the best of friends.

you did a fantastic job on both costumes!

AW, Thanks.  I think she is pretty cute too! (I admit that I am biased though)

I had a whole bunch of people in the Joanne's that day helping me choose the fabric and pattern for that doggie costume.  There must have been about 20 people that offered opinions that day.  The pattern was really, really simple.  I, of course, changed it a bit.  I am still finding bits of "doggie fur" around my house.
