Batman Pullover

This is my first intarsia and my first sweater.  I didn't use a pattern,  I used a 4T T-Shirt to figure out the sizing since it's for a 4 year old.  I made the chart that's on the sweater.   The one for the armband came from elsewhere.  The chart for the sweater is available in a link on the sidebar of my blog.

The yarn is Caron Simply Soft.




The logo is on the front and the back, and the second shot is so you can see an entire sleeve.

I wish I had that when I was 4! My brother and I dressed up as Batman and Robin one year for Halloween... we were really into fighting evil villains and ghosts. That's so, so awesome.

And I did get the basics for intarsia from knittinghelp.com and after that I just went at it.
The sweaters is basically a bunch of blocks.  A square for the front, and one for the back, and then for the sleeves, it's more like trapezoids.  Tapering from shoulder to sleeve.  And that's all there was to it.
