Like most swap obsessed people I have a swap journal, so I don't forget any important info about my partner (I can't tell you how many times I've deleted their questionnaires).
Anyway, mine was really ugly, but I didn't want to waste it, so I made a cover for it!
I didnlt properly plan/think it out so there was a lot of seam ripping! No suprise Smiley
In the end it turned out okay, and I really like it.
I used a vintage fruit fabric from the thrift store, and I can't tell if it's tacky or fun Smiley, and a litle square of solid blue cotton.
Enough rambling, here are the pictures.
Comment/criticisms wanted!

Here's the front, I swear the stitching isn't really all that crooked!

And here is the inside. Isn't that popcorn bag cool? It's not usually in there but I wanted to cover one of my previous parter's info and my DC stub. Smiley

I agree, that's great fabric.  I love the pocket on the front, too.  Where are these thrift stores with the excellent fabrics?  I can never find them.

Haha! I mostly find good fabric at Goodwill, but occaisionally I find some good stuff at independent stores.

That cover is awesome and the pocket is so cute. I completely LOVE the fabric you used...nowhere near tacky but definitely a whole lotta FUN!

I really like the pocket on the cover--I always seem to be losing pens and pencils, and having them right on the book would be really helpful
