she loved it.  i cot the cutouts from a 1986 time magazine.  it was the special edition with the last 50 years in pictures.  i glued newspaper on the box, and then tore out the pictures and glued them on.  painted over it with an "instant age varnish".

i founda clasp at michels but it was to big.  i bentt the edge of the clast so it wrapped around the edge of the lid with my needlenose pliers and it worked great.   you can see in the second picture how it is bent.
