I bought the new Butterick pattern and am in the middle of making it. I just finished cutting it out, but the whole thing seems really simple. I'll post pics when it's done!

i just put in the pearl snaps and it's done!  though the top is a bit of a shapeless bag with droopiness abounding...i guess i'm going to try to take it in a wee bit...but it's done!  a wearable garment of relative cuteness and it was so so easy.  Smiley  a great project to take my mind off my troubles.

This is absolutely amazing.  I would give you my first born for a copy of that pattern or a dress like that!

here's mine from the '52 pattern.  it doesn't know whether to burn its bra or give the house the extra once-over in hopes that its husband will let it go shopping tomorrow.

Butterick 4790.
It's a retro pattern in my local Hancock Fabric Store now.

It's on the Butterick web site, but I haven't checked in any stores.
I'm happy to see it's in my size, too! *puts it on the to-get-and-make list*
