I made five of these sleepy little critters for our Easter breakfast table:

They're super easy (I'm all about simplicity when it comes to crafting) and only took about 10 minutes to make a set of 5.

Cute! I've seen this done with washcloths also, very easy. Except they used it to put ice in for a "boo boo" and called it "boo boo" bunny. I think if you searched that on google you would find it.

That's where I got the idea from Smiley
I just decided to give them an Easter twist by making them into egg holders.

Yep, soft pink flannel. I want to try using different fabrics, maybe denim. I think I'll make a matching set to use as napkin rings.

Thanks so much for posting this!  I was looking for a fun and easy craft to do with the kids at my church Easter morning, and I've decided to do this!  I'm going to use washclothes so I don't have to cut fabric, but this is such a great idea.  The kids can use them on Easter for an egg holder and then keep them for a Boo Boo Bunny.  It met all of my requirements: cheap, easy, little to no use of markers (I plan to draw the faces), no glue, something useful.  Yay!

Just wanted to say thanks!
