I LOVE THE HEARTS!!!!!!

But wouldn't the CD edges be sharp? Wouldn't want anyone to cut themselves....

I tried the oven method first.  The cd's look bubbly and a bit winkled, not as pretty as the ones posted.  Any suggestions?  Also, the fumes gave me a headache and a funny taste in my mouth.

haha this has been one of the scariest things ive ever done. ya never know, yr house or oven just might blow up and catch on fire or something. my oven's at least 15 year's old and bleh. but anyway, do you think these are worth keeping and making into jewelry? they remind me of atlantis and mermaids or something. lol  Tongue

Definitely keep and use them! They look lovely. Try incorporating wire and other mediums with them.  Smiley

Oooh! You can buy ones with all sorts of different colors on them! I have- black, purple, orange, red, yellow, green, blue. I think. Only half of them belong to me, though. I'll see how they come out!

yeah i just had purple, blue, green, black and white. Tongue but i think ill just stop making them since i read about the dangerous chemicals and fumes from putting them in the oven and microwave.  Sad lol. i wonder what their health hazard regulations or whatever are in the factories that make stuff like this are. gas masks and ventilation i guess.

Ok, so I made a set out of an old cd that had been used for some backup years ago and wasn't RW, so useless, and in the end I glued five of the six to a strip of denim left over from making a bag out of an old pair of jeans, and it came out awesome. I'll post pics soonish.
