I'm going to a wedding on Easter Saturday. The happy couple have a one year old daughter so I decided to make matching quilts, one crib sized and one queen size.
My sister and I made the tops in soft greens inspired by Denyse Schmidt quilts
I had the quilts professionally machine quilted in order to get them done in time. I just finished sewing on the binding with two days to spare.

The quilts together

Queen quilt - front.

Queen quilt - back

Baby quilt

These are _gorgeous_.  The prof. quilting looks great and is a timesaver and a half, and they are very Denyse Schmidt.  I love them and would be honored to get them as a gift.  How beautifu.  Can you tell I'm impressed?  Wow.

I love these for so many reasons.  The soft colors, and the modernist shapes!  The mere idea of combinign a wedding present and a baby gift!  Oh yeah!

Those are some amazing quilts. I absolutely love your color and design choices. Even more gorgeous than the Denise Schmidt ones!

These are beautiful!!! I am so impressed, I'm working on my first quilt, and this very inspiring. If you don't mind, how much is professional quilting?
