i had a lot of fun this weekend..
i got the book "generation T" with a bunch of great recon ideas AND discovered a large TRASHBAG full of t-shirts and stuff we were going to give away.  so i had a field day and rescued bunches and bunches of shirts.

then i decided to make one.  Wink
i picked an old tween-boy-motocrossing shirt... you know the kind with the one little holes in them?  lol anyway it was cute and had some potential so i cut it up and sewed up the sides.

i don't have a before pixx but this is how it might have looked like (btw i KNOW the color is different)

so shirt + scissors + sewing machine + an hour of labor = this

hope you like my bathroom.  hahah.. i'd just cleaned it so it was really shiny.

ANYWAY  Cool

that's my project.  it was SOO easy because i just chopped off the sleeves and up  around the collar (which i left, as you can see.)  since the shirt was made for the boys, it's not fitted at all, and that's why i had to sew up the sleeves, but otherwise there was like no sewing necessary.  if you wanted it fitted, i supposed you could have cut off the sides and rearranged it all, but i wanted something fast & easy & cute...

and that's what i got.  Grin

what do you all think?

xoxo

That's a really cute shirt! I think it's well fitted enough. I tried to make a shirt with that exact method before, and it didn't quite work out well....  Roll Eyes Great job.
