I am so making some Muppet plant pots for my plants this summer!  How awesome is that!!! Cheesy  Great work!

goatgoddess-- yes, the necklace is glass!  It's a microscope slide pendant.  I warn you though, once you start making them, you will be addicted!  (though ironically, I haven't actually made one for myself yet-- only in swaps!  *adds to list of things to do*)

Thanks - I thought it was - very nice!
Grin  I did that with my stepping stones - took me 2 years to make one for myself and then that was only because the person never paid for it so I kept it  Smiley

The time has come
The walrus said
To talk of many things-
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax-
Of cabbages and kings.
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings.

Ooh, you've done stepping stones goatgoddess?  I've always wanted to try those, but I get intimidated!  Also, I have a big family of gardeners who will probably demand some if I begin making them.  (gotta love the family...)

Oh you would get lot's of requests I'm sure  Grin
make good presents at Christmas.

Not hard - you can take a cement stepping stone (dyi store, wal mart)  glue your tiles on and then grout.
If you want to get fancy just take some
1.clear sticky plastic (shelf liner) put your plastic sticky side up in a mold (mold can be a plastic lined box or a wooden box, sometime craft stores have the plastic molds on sale to (they work the best if you make lots)
2. then place your pattern (can be a drawing or picture) under the plastic
3. lay your tile wrong side up on the sticky side of the plastic
4. pour you cement (I like Diamond Crete (Hobby Lobby or stained glass supply store)
5. let set up
6. pop out of your mold - there ya are - a right nice stepping stone  Grin

You make it sound so easy goatgoddess... all right, that's it!  I'm going to have to try it!  (It would be pretty cool to get all my Christmas shopping done over the summer!)  I have so much scrap glass that I really need to get rid of some-- do you bother smoothing the glass down with a grinder or anything or do you just cut it first?  Ooh, I could make Muppet stepping stones!!!  How fabulous would that be?  They will go with my Muppet plant pots!  Ha!

I am also hoping that there will be a second round of this swap-- it was soooo much fun!  anna-begins, are you up for organizing again?  If not, I could potentially be sweet-talked into it if we need someone...

That would be way cool - post them if you do!
No I don't bother - the Diamond Crete get's inbetween the pcs here's where I posted so you can see

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=46614.0

now if you glue them down then grout just be careful with your hands - wear gloves and use a grout float or a bit of something to spread the grout around - of course I don't and sliced myself up a bit with some clay floor tiles I was using  Shocked

Now back to the swap <G>
