Yay finally finished the neverending sweater! Just in time for warm weather in New York--this is the third year I've finished a wool sweater in April. What a tradition!

It's a cardigan of my own design, using knitpicks wool of the andes. Cornflower blue, with lime green and light blue argyle and black buttons. I swear to never again knit something with so much stockinette stitch again, it was so boring. Argyle was fun though!

It's a little small, as you can tell (my last sweater was too big--I'm narrowing in on the perfect sweater size) and the seaming isn't great. I'm proud of it though, especially the nice back collar for the first time and my figuring out how to make steeked buttonholes (at least, I hope I figured it out, and that they don't come apart in a week).

Have you ever put a brick through a big plate-glass window, Ralph? It makes a wonderful goddamn noise, and the people inside run around like rats in a firestorm. It's fun, Ralph, and a bargain at any price

I really like that.  I don't normally  like argyle all that much but your sweater is so cute!

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?
