is there any way to convert patterns to lace? there's one or two pullover style sweaters that i'd love to do in a lace pattern, but i'd have no idea how to make that translate.  do you just do it by.. gauge?  inches?  i have no idea.  just kind of wondering. Smiley

wow thats a toughie...I would do it sort of by inches...like find out how many inches the piece is supposed to be in the normal stitch, then figure out how many lace repeats it takes to make it the same measurement, and go from there...

ok so guage and inches.

yeah that probably wasn't very helpful...sigh
