i ran out of stuff i could sew without a dress form, so i made this little bunny out of some skirt scraps.  i sent her to my mom as a surprise because she misses me when i'm at college.

pattern from www.weewonderfuls.com, about half size and with some slight modifications.

and because little bunny butts are too cute:

thanks!  i used polyfil and a couple of flat marbles at the bottom.  she doesn't sit quite right without a little work, so next time i'd try those plastic pellets or maybe a large washer or a disc made out of polymer clay.

That's adorable! Is the tail made out of thread, or did you somehow fray the fabric?

i just made a little pom-pom out of embroidery thread for the tail.  fortunately wal-mart had all thread on clearance for 10 cents, and the perfect colors.

I love your bunny, the fabric is great!
I almost put the face on that side but wasn't sure how it would look... now I know it would look just as cute!
