I made this as a button for a friend's dog's "coat"

The button is made using scrap clay as a base. The reddish part of the button is made with a copper clay using the mica shift technique. It has been sanded using grits from 400 to 1500. It has been finished with Future floorwax. The outside of the button has been made with black clay, texturized with a texture plate, and rubbed with gold pearlex powder. It was baked in two steps. The "duck" pattern in the swirl was an accident, but I really like it.
