wow, nice cuff yamwam!  great idea with the clear elastic and knitting it....  for some reason it reminds of those 1950's plastic flocked christmas trees with the shiny bright balls on them.....

It's a dull and wet Melbourne day - it's been raining from morn till evening. I woke up feeling blah, felt blah all the way thru work, and then progressively felt blah-er as I sat through class, took the wrong tram, had to get off half a suburb early thanks to a blocked road, and then waited another 20 minutes for a train to arrive.....

But there in the mailbox! A parcel from an angel!!

yayyayyay! animegirlie has sent me two ever so pretty cuffs, and they are perfect. One's blue and matches my new boots, the other's pinkish and matches not only my pyjamas, but also half my wardrobe. And it's so soft I just want to stroke it all day.

Photos to follow, once I buy some batteries tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you so much animegirlie *hugs*

I'm so glad you liked the cuff, Mrs. Benjimadden.  I was so afraid that you wouldn't like it!  Yes, it is knitted, and yes, it is Frenzy yarn.  I bought for myself because it was a cheap, but upon finding out that you were my partner, I knew I had to make the cuff out of it. Cheesy

WHAT?! The two of you went behind my back! Wink Those ones look awesome too great job moilulu.  I like how the beads on the edge are so obvious.  Do you think this cuff could be done in handspun yarn? I just started using a drop spindle and it takes forever so Im trying to find any pattern that doesnt use a whole bunch of yarn.
