This is one of my early projects on my return to knitting. It's from a Sirdar pattern for Funky Fur (pattern no 2078), knitted in Funky Fur Magic self striping yarn. I tried to discourage Georgie from going for this yarn as the stripes are obviously inconsistent but she was adamant. I originally made it to go with a posh dress I bought her in a sale at the department store John Lewis but she wears it all the time over strappy dresses and tops. I'm delighted that she likes it so much. Thank you for looking.

I think it's very cute!  I think the inconsistant stripes look good.

Just look at that smile on her face... She loves it!  Inconsistent stripes - who cares?  That smile is what it's all about!

Great job!

Mistake?  No... it's an Unexpected Design Element.  I put it there on purpose.  *ahem*

That looks awesome, but it does not compare to how happy she looks in it. Great job!!!

Shocked I so need one! Gorgeous. I bet I could fit the biggest (or second to biggest, even) size in the pattern, but I'm not advanced enough to deal with all that fuzz.  Roll Eyes She looks great in it and I love the colors. Stripes shouldn't be so perfect all the time.  Smiley

Everybody likes pink. People who think otherwise are in denial.
