Thanks, everyone! I wrote a really long post on my livejournal the night after the wedding so I wouldn't forget very much (I'm VERY forgetful) so if anyone really wants to read about it, I can just copy and paste onto my wedding post on here later. It's not very focused on crafts though.
To everyone who's already gotten married - does it feel any different to you? We lived together for a year and a month before we were married and we've been calling each other "husband" and "wife" for a while so it feels pretty much the same to us. I'm just going to have to get used to introducing him to ppl as my husband instead of my fiance, and to writing/saying my new last name.
I don't know when we'll get our pictures back, but I'm sure it won't be before we get back from our honeymoon. (We're still on it; we're just geeks and both brought our computers with us haha)

Can't wait to see the pix!  Feel free to copy & paste the entry here!  I'd love to read.  If you think it's not crafty enough, PM it to me 'cause I wanna read. Cheesy

Didn't feel any different for me 'cept my last name.

We were roommates and lived together years before we got married.

Oh my gosh!  I'm getting so excited, I'm finally able to post my list here.  We have a 2 1/2 year engagement and I've been lurking on this thread for about a year now.  So we're down to 18 months and its time to start crafting!  We're working on a $10,000 budget in the chicagoland area (average wedding $30,000 - $50,000) which has been a challenge, but we've had enough time to craft and find the deals  Wink

Wedding Date 10.10.10

Already booked our reception/ceremony place at The Byron Colby Barn in Greyslake

http://www.prairiecrossing.com/pc/site/barn_index.php

Wedding dress (sash) - ebay - making a new sash for th dress, I love everything about it except the color of the original sash, its a bit more washed out looking than what I thought it would be.

Wooden initials - to hang on the door with ribbons, I want to paint the crackling paint finish on them to give it the rustic appearance
apple butter favors - will be in 1/2 pint mason jars. both our families are getting togehter this fall to make it.  The batch takes 8 hours of stiring so we nee a team of people to help.
centerpeices - mason jars half filled with mini pinecones, berry branches and greenery
invitations - I just ordered sample mulberry paper a couple of days ago
attendants gifts - havent decided exactly what yet but I definately want to make bridesmaids jewelry as part of the gifts.
cupcake tree
dessert table - my mom and aunt and cousins are excited to bake, including te cupcakes that will be in place of a cake
bathroom baskets
seating wall chart
programs
ring pillow/flower girl baskets
wooden "wedding" sign - the ceremony is going to take place by a gazebo a couple of blocks behind the barn
table candles - 3 per table in mall mason jars with a layer of dried split peas on the bottom a votive candle and ribbon or raffia tied around the top
childrens coloring books/gift pail

I feel like I have made some good progress in recent weeks!
Dress is almost done, fascinators for maid of honor and I are finished, my shoes are painted and embellished, my shrug is half knit, very simple bouquets are together and wrapped.

I will try to take some photos soon.
