teaparty, those bags for the kids are so great and wonderful--I know if I were a kid I'd love me a personalized handcrafted tote!

I think everyone is doing such a great job and will have beautiful weddings.

I like the memorial candles, and have been thinking about how to memorialize both my mom and fiance's mom.  I've decided to have an angel on one flower girl basket, and bells on the other.  His mom collected angels and my mom bells.

I was at my dad's this weekend for a cookout, and my family kept saying "10 more weeks until the wedding!"  Etc etc...  which freaked me out, of course.  Then I figured out I still have 14 weeks to the wedding.  But ANYWAY, here's my list of crafts I want to do.

Save the Dates
Flower Girl Dresses (2)
flower baskets (2) (origami)
ring bearer box (origami)
150+ masquerade masks (3 a day for awhile)
tissue paper lanterns- as many as I can  Smiley
crayons for kids
OOT gifts

I think that's it.  It doesn't look so bad now that it's on "paper."  Thankfully I found pretty seal and send invitations for cheaper than I would have made them for.  Otherwise I'd never get them done in time.
Ok, I'm ready to procrastinate with you guys:D

Hey everyone, haven't posted in this thread for a bit, here's a little wedding update from me...

Venue: http://www.weddings.butleypriory.co.uk/
Date: 3rd Oct 2009
Dress: Juliette on this page: http://www.pronuptia.co.uk/bridal2.html

So now I can start planning everything else, so far I'm thinking about:

Save the Dates- going to start designing these (will be printing them with my Gocco) and will be sending out in October this year.
Colour scheme- haven't entirely decided yet, but I did this mood board a while back: http://craftybride.blogspot.com/2008/04/mood-board-monday-choosing-colour.html
Me and my bridesmaid have started thinking about my tiara as she makes jewellery and I have dabbled in the past.
Also considering making my veil as they seem to cost a silly amount of money!
I'll post progress as I get further along with the ideas Smiley

I think the bells/angels are such a sweet idea! I loved sweets4evers little photo charms in her bouquet as another idea!

For our wedding, we did the sort of traditional memorial candle burning at the entrance to the reception room with framed photos of my grandfather and my mother in law. We framed a card saying that the candle burned in honor of those that could not be present to celebrate with us. We also added songs to the playlist that were my MIL's favorites.

@elottino: Masquerade masks? I'm intrigued! Can't wait to see them!

@pinkangel1979: Your dress is beautiful!

I've got two more FO's to share with you ladies. I made a 'Short 'n Sweet' shrug from Stitch 'n Bitch: Happy Hooker for each of my two bridesmaids. I used Knitpick's Andean Silk, in colorway 'Lettuce.' All told, the yarn for both cost right around $50.

I've been working on these for a few weeks now, so it feels great to finally have them done.

Della - is one much smaller than the other, or is that just from the way the picture was taken? Those look great; I don't think I could ever make those haha.
