I've been engaged for 2 years, but we finally set a date! June 13, 2010 (no, it's not a Friday...)
I bought my dress at David's this weekend. It's simple except for the beading at the neckline, which is exactly what I wanted.

We also found a dress for the bridesmaids, which will be in yellow.

Even found a dress for my mom! It's a hot pink dress that has one little tear on a seam, so we got it for $50! (BTW, why are "mother of the bride" dresses so freaking ugly? They're all in black, beige and grey, and look like only dour old lady would wear them. Ugh!)
Now that I have the dress and have booked the place (ceremony and reception will be at the Davis Islands Garden Club:
http://www.digclub.org/), I'm not doing anything until December. I have to pass Spanish 2 to graduate from college, and I'm not allowed to do anything else until the final! Well, I guess this counts as doing something, but I have to dream a little, right?
Well, my list for things to make goes something like this:
(Wedding colors are dark green and yellow, btw)
Veil: I bought one on ebay for $20, and I'm going to add green crytals to edge
Jewelry: Bride’s earrings and bracelets (no necklace needed with halter top!)
Bridesmaids necklaces, earrings, and bracelets (3 sets)
Bouquets
Centerpieces
Invitations
Simple printable ones; Including maps and allergy warnings (no scented anything!)
Chuppah: Since I and so many friends and FMIL crochet, I'm having everyone crochet a square or two, then put them together.
Card basket
Cupcake tier
Programs
Flower girl basket
Cake topper
Favors
Those are the ideas so far. Now back to studying.....
