Hello! I'm so excited about posting on this thread is silly  Cheesy

My boyfriend of 5 and a bit years, proposed 3 weeks ago and we are planning our wedding for March 20th 2010, which will be the day after the 6th anniversary of our first date!!

I love this thread so so much and its given me lots of inspiration for crafting for the wedding!!

So a little bit about what we have planned so far ('cause I know from all the posts that you ladies like to know these things  Wink)

We're having a civil ceremony (at the reception venue rather than in church), and there will be about 30 people in the day and an extra 20 at night.  We're on a pretty tight budget, so I'm trying to craft as much as I can!

Colour theme will be Chocolate and Cream, with some highlights of Deep Pink!

So now for the listed of things to craft!
- Save the Date cards
- Invitiation
- Favours
- Place settings
- Jewelry (going to be crafted by one of my best friends who also frequents craftster, katcal. She is so much better at jewelry than me!)
- Table Decorations
- possibly Cake Decorations (I decorated my Mum's wedding cake last year, but hated every minute of doing it, so I'm not sure if I can cope with the stress!)
- Thank you gifts (for Mum's etc)
- Thank you cards

Thats my to do list atm, I'm sure that I've forgotten some things tho!

I'm looking forward to posting my crafts once I get going on them!

TreeTree - I love the cake serving set Smiley

I've got the eeby geeby's!

Thank you for all the congrats  Smiley

Eeep I'm so so so excited - we booked our wedding venue over the weekend!!

Its a small local hotel, and most of the property used to be part of a coach house which was built just over 200yrs ago! We love it so much!

Yey - now I can send out my 'save the dates'; I'm going to make quite small cards with magnets on the back so that people can keep them on the fridge! My friend did this a couple of years back and I really liked the idea.
I'm going to play around with some ideas now  Cheesy

Well, I just got engaged on July 2nd and our wedding date is September 3rd, 2010 so I've got a good deal of crafting to do before then!

Here is my list of what I plan to make so far:
-Fabric mismatched favor bags
-1" button magnets for favors with our designs
-earrings for my brideschicks, moms
-place cards
-All of the flowers(boutonnieres, bouquets)
-Hair accessories for brideschicks

I would be making my own earrings too, but my earrings run at 1/2 now, so I'll be buying those. I'm also thinking of trying to stencil my brothers' ties, they'll be my bridestwins, so I can't realy gift them earrings or a headband. I've seen so many awesome things on here so I'm sure inspiration won't be short!
