I wouldn't say I'm the most religious person....not by a LONG shot but I have a palm laying on my counter and I could not for the life of me remember how to make one of these!  Thanks for posting this!

I didn't forget how to make them--I'm an adult convert and I never knew how to make them. Thanks for posting the how-to link.

ETA: I admire how smooth yours is. Mine turned out all wonky, and I don't have another to practice with.

I had a few bunches of palm because each of my 3 girls took some so I was able to post the nicest one (of course!), I have quite a few wonky ones. BTW- the thinner ones make the nicest ones. The tradition (Italian/American?) around here is for the children to offer palm to their older relatives and the relatives in turn give the child money. I'm afraid my youngest has the wrong idea and thinks she was selling palm and making lots of money doing it...... Undecided we are still trying to clear this up!

My church handed out the cross versions a couple years ago.  This year they handed out palms, but the sermon wasn't about the Palm Sunday story, so I felt bad for people newer to church who probably thought it was pretty weird!   Tongue
