I spent this weekend making earings, and thought I'd show off my first 5 pairs.

All 5 pairs hanging on a lamp:

Pair 1 - Metalic seed beeds & 24 gauge brass coated wire:

Pair 2 - Red metalic seed beads (red basic color with metalic cast-offs) w/hematite rectangle beads & burgundy frosted glass:

Pair 3 - Plain red glass beads:

Pair 4 - Blue metalic beads, Hematite rectangles, blue glass bugle, & blue glass seed beads:

Pair 5 - black glass square beads, frosted & silver glass beads, black seed beads & hematite square beads:

Dangle Action (sorry it's blurry):

4 Additional Pairs:

All 9 Pairs:

I would like to eventually sell these things, so these are what I am trying to practice with. I need to buy more beads, in different colors, sizes, etc. But I am happy with how they look. I have had compliments already on them, and some interested in buying (just not sure how much to charge though). Mainly they are just fun to make I am enjoying the different challenges Cheesy

they're really nice! if i had pierced ears i'd totally be interested in buying a pair - i think there's some formula for figuring out how much to charge, like double what your materials cost and then pay yourself a good hourly wage for making them.

Thank you Cheesy I've made four additional pairs (3 similar to the plain red ones, though more detailed, and one very dangly Wink ). I will have to look for that formula - hubby suggested about $10 a pair for the bigger ones, and about $8 for the smaller ones. Right now my lamp is very crowded, and I must find a spot for them before the kitties decide it's play time Tongue

Hmm, if people take their pics off of photobucket, then it will say that the pic is no longer there...if the album goes over it's bandwidth, just try again later or right click on the pic, select properties - copy & past the URL and you might be able to see the pic (it usually works for me).

Anyways, here are a few more pics:
