Yippee! I received my pantas from princessblueberry today! I asked for one, but she sent THREE! I'm modeling my favorite, though I cleverly cropped myself out of the pic.

LOL, your favorite one almost became panta dishrag. . .I must have been absent minded or frazzled because the first time I sewed the ends togeather it was twisted and did not notice till both ends were woven in and trimed. . .then I went to find the ends so I could unsew it but started unsewing the wrong end and it started unraveling. . .about had a nervous breakdown and baught the plain green and made that to replace it becaus I could not send an awsome swap organizer (Unconditional Swap April) just one panta but then two days later I had the patience to fight with it. . .then all was well

Oh my! Well, I'm glad my beloved panta did not turn into a dish rag! It's too pretty.

I just received a jumbo package from kittykill, fulfilling my wishes for a sock monkey kit and coconutty goodies. It was all wrapped up in pretty coloured tissue!
1st up, red heel socks and instructions:


Next picture, red yarn, the most gorgeous-smelling candle, Edgar Allan Poe notecard, coconut & lime wash, scrub and lotion (mmmm!) and coconut candy (I've already scoffed the Almond Joy )


And finally, monkey love badge (I'm going to let my OH have this, he will love it, his pet name for me is "chimpy"!) and super-cute coconut mug from her personal tikibar collection!

Yippee! I'm so glad it got there in one piece.I remembered that your boy called you chimpy and then saw your avatar and thought the pin was fitting. I love that candle. I actually went back and bought some for myself. It has vanilla in it but I thought is smelled pretty coconutty.

 I actually found a sock monkey kit from the company that makes the socks (red star I think) They have directions for a sock monkey and for a sock elephant.

I agree! Both are lovely. I'm half done with my sock monkey kit from the last round.. I crafted half of the monkey the 1st day, then put it back and haven't had the chance to complete it. It looks great so far!
And, I've taught myself how to knit, I'm halfway through my second panta, this time in cotton and with cables! It's really easy, you know.  hehehe
