Bag Title: Bird on Cherry Blossom Tree (it's all I've been seeing & hearing this month!)

Materials Used: cotton print for the outside, plain black cotton on the inside, medium weight interfacing, magnetic snap & I covered cotton cord with the same outer fabric.
((I didn't follow a pattern for this at all, nor do I for any of my other creations - truly OOAK!))

Bag Title: The "D" bag
Materials used: Cotton worsted weight yarn, acrylic worsted weight yarn (flower center), pin backing, wooden "D" cutouts
Bag picture:

I had trouble finding appropriate handles so I used "D" cutouts that were 99 cents each.  Stained, varnished and waxed them and here it is, my D bag...with a daisy.

I just made a cute, very springy bag for my friend's birthday. Here it is, I call it the White Eyelet, Green Envy Bag.  From the outside through the eyelets, you can only get a small glimpse the green underneath...

Materials: white eyelet cotton, green lining, 1 9" zipper, 2 metal hoops, fusibible fleece

Full bag:

Tomorrow is the last day for entries-- I will be closing the post and opening voting when I get a chance, so maybe in the afternoon.

Also, voting for theme 3 is up! Go over to that topic and start voting!

I still have time to post, right?

I made this bag in the middle of summer (its coming into Autumn here now) to take to a music festival called The Big Day Out.
Thus, it is my big Day Out Bag.

The Front

The Back

Close-Up of fabrics and the zip pocket

It's made from Vintage Drill Fabric, I got about 8 metres for $4, and some batting that my Mum gave me, and the vintage dotty fabric that was $2 a metre, and a vintage long zip and another short zip for the front patch pocket, and the bottom of the straps is cut off another bag that was about to be thrown out.
The pocket on the front is appliqued on, and the back has a layer of batting for comfort, and the straps have three layers of batting.
It was really comfy to wear for the whole day aswell.

Bag Title:Butterfly Shimmer
Materials used:table linens (napkins) and thread..that would be it. No interfacing because I like my totes slouchy. I got the napkins on sale at Wally World, 4/$0.70 and only used two from each pack..so I have a $0.70 purse..LoL
Bag picture:

The lining is more of a light cream color, not white, and the outside is a shimmery kind of ice blue. It measures 13.5" x 13". Technically it's reversible but I like it best as the pictures show it.

Bag Title: Hidden Bloom
Inspired by this fabulous grass like print, I lined it with a deep purple.  It reminds me of the gorgeous contrast of colourful flowers on a grassy background in the spring time.  It is super roomy!
Materials Used: Cotton Broadcloth, Some lovely purple fabric I found in a scrap bin, 4 silver D-rings, one silver magnetic snap.
