i'm going to dub this one, cute as a button
i used about 1/4 yard of the inner cotton fabric as well as the outer upholstery fabric, and of medium weight iron on interfacing. also a zipper and 11 buttons Smiley

my favorite part of this bag is the buttons in the middle of the flowers Smiley

This is the 'Country Mouse' version of the it's Coach canvas and leather cousin.  I love the contrast of the fine print/whale corduroy and the pop of the bright satin.  I can't wait to put it to good use!

Bag Title:  Spring Blossom Hobo

Hi. I am new here and this is my first post. I made this bag for my mom's birthday and will soon be making others because I am so happy with how it turned out.

Bag name: the grass isn't always greener ...
Materials used: 100% merino wool, cotton fabric and vintage buttons
Method: the purse was knitted, the trim was crocheted, then the bag was felted (i know it doesn't look every felted form the picture) and then lined.

The top photo shows the green colour the best. It is like a leafy green. The middle photo shows the crochet detail -I'm not that great at crochet flowers -and the detail around the strap. The last picture shows the lining.

I also made a little change purse to match.

Hope you enjoy. I'd appreciate any comments once the challenge is over.
