I found this place http://www.texasbeautysupplies.com/siljumbraidh.html and here is the deal most of these places have crazy shipping charges. I tried two places and just wanted to order 3 bags (blue, red, purple) 2.99 each the cheapest shipping was $10.48 the freaking hair was only $11. It doesn't weight a lot I have no clue why they charge so much for shipping. I emailed Dr Locks too about there crazy shipping but no one answered me back.

Yeah, Dr. Locks shipping is a little high, too...I think it was ~$7 for a bunch of bags, which I guess isn't too bad. I just mailed out a set of falls I made and sold, and didn't photograph them first! Agh, I'm so irritated that I forgot!

Those are incredible. I've always wanted to try making and wearing snyth dreads, but my hairs really thick and already down to my tail bone.

Yours are so beautiful though! Great job!

That definitely qualifies as being crafty. I've been half-attempting to make some dreads for about a week now, but I've been distracted by that school stuff...lol They look amazing!

where did you get the hair from???

i just bought a set of synthetic dreads, but they're already coming apart a little bit, now i want to make some replacements for myself... now that i realize it isnt as difficult as sellers of dreads insist it is...

I got the brown hair from Sally's.. beauty supplies (i think thats the name of it).  For the bright colors I found them at random little 'beauty' stores in Albany (NY.. thats the closest city to me).. im not sure what sort of store youd call them.. thats probably not a whole lot of help though, im sorry.

and no, they really aren't hard at all.  it takes a couple to really get the hang of making them tight, but it wasn't bad.
