I received from alwaysinmyroom!!

I asked for coasters but alwaysinmyroom went above and beyond my wish!

alwaysinmyroom sent me:

• 2 vintage wooden Japanese coasters
• a Hello Kitty purse
• a kitty stuffie
• a lucky cat
• a Japanese picture
• some gorgeous origami paper
• a CD that her husband plays (sings?) on
• some buttons
• a hand-bound little book - she wrote the sweetest letter in it explaining why she decided to include all the different items
• two pennies - these were in the purse (I think this is to ward off bad luck??)
• some Japanese tissue/wrapping paper (she wrapped the coasters and Japanese picture in these)

Wow! That was quite a haul! I LOVE the Japanese coasters - they'd match the rest of the Japanese stuff I've got.

Yippee! I also received from alwaysinmyroom yesterday. I was having a rather rough day and was instantly cheered when I saw my beautiful new goodies. So much time and care was spent on personalizing these items--thanks so much, Linda!

I asked for a rather large tote, and boy did I get one! The Japanese fabric is beautiful and goes so well with the blue lining. She also included some goodies that she knew I'd love--corduroy and floral print fabric, ribbon belt, knitted scarf, and a floral print handkerchief.

I recieved a tote bag from porfiry! AMAZING

as a knitter/crocheter/craftster all around i find a normal tote bag is not big enough for me

and i take all my crafting stuff to school and craft. what a wonderful use of highschool education time

so i needed a very large bag to carry school stuff AND various crafting items.

and i need no more thanks to the super swapper Porfiry!

i received from ultraviolet today! the package actually came yesterday but my brother was stashing it in his room and forgot to tell me
i love it all so much and can't wait to post pictures of the wonderful yarns i got and all the stuff i plan to make with them.

Kasie--congrats on your acceptance to Moorepark!  Just in case everybody doesn't know:  this young woman has been accepted to work with exotic animals, her favorite being TIGERS! Awesome achievement for this special crafster! You go, girl!! YEAH! You deserved a little surprise! I enjoyed working with the fabric, which was an auction place find!!

Here's what I received from apandalee! MORE Okapi goodness! This time in jewelry form! She sent three adorable shrinky dink bracelets...in my favorite color combo!



Then she also sent a gorgeous pair of earrings too!



I have to say, apandalee is too sweet because she told me that she had even more ideas, so if I put an okapi wish up, she would grant it. This is the THIRD time I have received from her in an unconditional swap!!! She is just too awesome!

Well thank you! I must say I am rather excited. It's been my dream for years and now it's finally coming true! I'm taking the purse to school today to show off to everyone!
