Amazing items!!

We have a HP swap just ending signups now, but we'll be doing another one later.  We're trying to do some special themed HP swaps.  Keep an eye out once you're eligible!!

I can't wait to see more of your stuff - you're extremely talented!

Great stuff!!  . . .isn't it fun to make stuff that you really connect with??

I have made some props from polymer clay (or mixed media), but they were actual props for plays.  Some were fun... some were a pain in the ass to figure a cheap way to do (very low budget for props), but I was happy with them in the end.

Btw, there was a polymer clay swap for sort-of-Harry-Potter items a few years ago in one of the polymer groups.... I think I have a link to some of the items in the swap, but some have disappeared from online... I'll go look . . . okay, here's what I have:

Wizard's Pantry Swap (ingredients a wizard in training might have in his pantry):

Sunni's page showing the swap items she made (pg. 1), and items she received (pgs. 2 & 3)
http://sunnisan.com/crafts/pantry.html
http://sunnisan.com/crafts/pantry2.html
http://sunnisan.com/crafts/pantry3.html

sunni's list of most items from the Wizard's Pantry Swap:

Acoyite from Jody *ewwwww - gooey, Faerie Stones from Kim2 *ooh, pretty!*, Pulverized Snail Trails from Jean M,  A Bottle Pendant (travel size "Floo" powder containers from Celeste, Cedar leaves from Jean C , Dehydrated Muggles (hermetically sealed) from Dianne Cook, Unicorn Hair from Kellie B, Baby Unicorn First Growth Horn Charm from Stephanie G , Dragon Debris (Talons, scales, eggshell pieces, frozen dragon particles) from Jan, Frog's Eyes from Marjorie , Shrunken bottled creepy things from Nuchi , Eagle feather dust from Jean C , A Leprechaun Guitar Pick made of Sidhe Scales, owl feathers from sunni,
and a Nearly Flying Potion, w/all ingredients from Helene: Crushed rose petals and beads in a snape-like jar Porcupine Quills Small, delicate and volatile Eastern Seabord Tortoise Shell Dragons scales with accompanying beads Homemade Birch Bark paper Spiderweb Crystal for dowsing And Phoenix Feathers!!

. . . it wasn't necessary to have read the Harry Potter books, though they are an excellent source of inspiration. I made bottles of aconite concentrate, useful for taming werewolves or PMS. (actually, it's green bubble bath!) Jody
