I often get inspired for handbags I make through current clothing trends, as well as the construction of various basic garments.  Here is a handbag I made out of a men's wool blazer.  The flap is actually the collar of the jacket and I utilized both the original wool exterior and polyester lining for the purse.  The strap is made of a leather belt.
