I made this for my cousin.  The handles are made from poptabs and ribbon.  I did not photograph the inside, but the lining was made from my favorite orange shirt - it had a stain,  Embarrassed so it found a new life as a purse.  This is my first post, so I hope the picture works!

What do you think?

I love the colour you used! You can't even tell the strap is pop tabs! I had to really look twice.  I am sure your cousin will absolutely love this!

Thanks.  She made a furry pink bathrobe for her 4-H project this year - there were little bits of pink fur all over the house.  I knew she'd like this because everyone needs a matching purse and robe!   Wink

I found this link somewhere else in Craftster.

http://community.livejournal.com/bracelet_whore/2071150.html

The tute is for a bracelet, but it works basically the same way.  She used wire for her bracelet.  If I were to make another purse handle, I would use a heavier cord, rather than ribbon.  Ribbon makes it a little flimsy.
