But I am really desperate. Now I brought quilt making suppies making supplies a long time ago and I made a quilt with it. Since then, my ruler, mat and rotary cutter have all been floating around my room. Now that I want to make another quilt I can not find my ruler! I really need one in a hurry and I can't really aford it right now. I do have a little stash though can someone please pm me for a personal trade? If you aren't using it anymore, I would put it to good use. And I will put it up in a safe place once I am finished with my quilt. Also, my mat is a little on the small size also so if you don't want that, I would like one of those too Smiley

Thanks

I saw a 6x24 ruler at walmart in the clearance the other day but it was awalmart very far away...so I'm no help but maybe a walmart near you has the same clearance?  And in a bind I've used cardboard to cut on.  It can be a pain but it will work.  Just don;t cut on previous cut lines.

I'm no help for the trade, as my ruler is in constant use (along with my mom's rotary mat which I am permanently borrowing...we live in the same house, so it's not like she can't get it back! lol!)
However, check the Hobby Lobby ads if you have a store near you.  They often put quilting supplies 40-50% off.  This week they have an email coupon for 40% off one regular priced item.  You'd still have to pay a little bit, but it wouldn't be as much!  Hope this was some help!
