So I have traversed the Craftster world and instead of just sewing I have learned how to knit! Well kinda...

I made this fishy toy for my boyfriend's cat Nitro for X-mas. It was pretty much stockinette stitch, invisible increases and knit 2 together. I had fun making it and I know our kitty will enjoy it. You can tell I was a bit shakey with the increases on the tail but that's okay. I actually bought one of the Knit kits from Target after my supervisor at work taught me how to knit and purl. Looks great! My cats are getting a fishy toy for Christmas, too. Are you going to stuff with catnip? (or as we call it with our cats...crack nip)

What a great first project!!! -I did garter stitch scarves for over a year before I got adventurous and learned to purl, increase, etc. You're a natural.

I too am just learning to knit, and my sister bought me the exact same kit from Target!  Smiley After seeing yours, I have confidence to start mine! Thanks!
