Before:  Plain old chunky mary janes.  Cute but I didn't wear them too much.


After:  It took many many hours and hundreds of rhinestones but I'm finally finished.  Well at least I finished one shoe:)  Not sure where I'll wear them but I definately won't get lost in a crowd.

those are phabulous.  did you paint the shoes beforehand?  what kind of glue did you use?  i want my own pair of iced out kicks Smiley

Thanks everyone Smiley  I was going to use E6000 but they didn't have any left so I got Elmer's craft adhesive which is supposed to be pretty similar.  It dries white though so thats why the shoe looks painted underneath.

you know if I had seen this challenge early enough to vote I totally would have voted for you! these are totally freakin awesome! gives me inspiration for my daughter, she was given an ugly pair of suede shoes and if I did this to them, she would sooooo wear them all the time! great job!
