While busy needle-felting, I got lazy.
Instead of pinning the wool or poking it into place with something, I held it with my finger.

And here's what happened

I needled my finger right through!

OUCH.  Oh you poor woman.  Have punctured my fingers but never ran one clear through - that must hurt like the dickens.  Yes, I do call them "wicked barbed needles" for good reason.  Sorry you had to confirm it this way.   Ouching away for you, hope it helps.

Yeah, I've lightly pricked myself before but this is the first time I've gone right through.
I was needle felting rather ferociously and I didn't realise until I had pushed it right through.
heh, my first thought was "I hope I didn't get any blood on my project"

I almost think that goring a gigantic hole through your finger should be an initiation rite to needle felting Tongue.  Sometimes I'm surprised that I still have skin on my fingers after I put the needles away for the night.  Rest assured, these puncture wounds heal fast, but they sure do cause a lot of swearing!

Hope you're better now!

Whoa, through your fingernail?
That's way more hardcore than my accident.
