Was desperately trying to be clever with the name so that you guys would read my post  Sad

Well what I did was :
1. Take one boring pair of flip-flops:

2. Wrap some bright green wool around 'em

3. Dress them up with wool pom-poms

4. Put them on and graciously accepts the compliments!

Awesome! They look professionally-done.  Did you glue the string to secure it once you finished wrapping it?

Thanks! And, nope ,no glue. I sort of blanket-stitched the wool on to the straps.

Very nicely done! I didn't think they were so bad before the rehab -- but seeing them after, they're MUCH better. What a great vision you had for these!

I wrapped wool around flip-flops once, too, but I used E6000 on the back of the strap to keep the yarn in place.  The "sort of blanket-stitch" looks so much better--I like how it makes sort of a border.  Nice use of the beads, too.  Cute shoes.
