Ok, I had a sudden flash of inspiration and ran out to wal mart where I purchased these booooring tennies...

And painted images on them from two of my favorite death cab for cutie songs!

The left foot is from "Marching Bands of Manhattan" and the right is from "I Will Follow You into the Dark."  I'd post the lyrics, but if you're not a dcfc fan already they probably wouldn't mean much to you.  I hope you like them!  I know I do! Smiley

P.S.  sorry for the pic quality, my camera's battery was low
P.P.S.  they were still drying when I took the pic, which is why the laces are out.  Imagine them with laces, please! hehe.

EDIT:  ok, I was looking at this post and decided I wanted to share the lyrics that inspired the shoes anyway Smiley

"If I could open my arms and span the length of the isle of Manhattan, I'd bring it to where you are, making a lake of the East River and Hudson"

"If heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied, and illuminate the 'no's on their vacancy signs; if there's no one beside you when your soul embarks, I will follow you into the dark"

Happiness can be found in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the lights.

You can lead a heart to love, but you can't make it fall.
