Thank you for the hug teapotdnky-- I needed that!

This is what amaryllisroze was supposed to receive from me, rather than the pile of rubble that ended up on her doorstep:

Forgive the pics-- I took quick shots in the truck before I mailed them out!  Anyway, it really did start out in one piece amaryllisroze!  I totally intend to make you a new one, as I don't think it's fair for you not to receive what was promised!  I will be having my dad whip up a new cross base for me this weekend and will send out a new one the beginning of next week.  I'm so sorry this happened.   Cry

Thank you so much.  I am determined to make a bigger, better, brighter and more beautiful one though to replace it!  Take that USPS!  I throw my plaster shards at you!

And because of reading the sad destiny of the mosaic cross and my anger with the postal service, I forgot to place the pic I was going to place...

My cross from vicouskittie arrived this morning!  The cross has an image of Frida and is decorated with milagros, glued microbeads and seed beads and at the corners it has flowers with a calavera in the center. And viciouskittie even sent me some beautiful matching Flower/calavera hairpins!  Here are the pics:

Thank you viciouskittie, I love everything!!!

CraftyZary-- what a beautiful cross!  Viciouskittie did a great job!  I love the hairpins too  Wink

The base of the mosaic cross was wooden-- my daddio cut it out for me.  (crafty dad!)
