The thick white yarn did not stick well because I did not realize it had acrylic in it, so I am going to pull it out, put 100% merino yarn and refelt that part. I thought it came out not bad for the first try...  Wink

Oh neat. Very pretty. Did you weave yarn, and then wet felt it? I love the little fringey edges. Is fringey a word? It is now.

i kind of like the white yarn in it.  i think the texture differences are really interesting.

at any rate, the piece itself is gorgeous.  good job.

When I've "wet-felted" using yarn instead of wool tops, it was more in a swirly pattern rather than a woven design.
