I like the sound of that, it sounds very "kaylee"!

I got my package today! And like the outside said, everything is more than shiny.

Nymeria sent me a Kaylee-inspired necklace, a Kaylee-inspired knit headscarf, and a Blue Sun knit bag.

Group picture:

Close up of the bag:

Action shoot:

Seeing as I was already wearing my "Kaylee" pjs, I just had to dig out my jacket. Everything is just so sweet.

Thank you Nymeria. You're the sweetest swap partner ever!

hehe I am glad you like! I was having major craft anxiety! I have always wanted to make something with the blue sun logo on it so intarsia was all worth it!  Grin

P.S. I love your jacket! You look just like Kaylee!

Ok, here are the pics, sorry about the darkness, someday I will learn to take pictures outside during the day, instead of inside at night.

This is the first doll I have ever made, I was nervous about drawing the face, but luckily that came out okay.  We won't talk about her floppy head, had to use a straight pin to hold it up!

And here is Kaylee is her mechanic overalls, the head isn't floppy on this one and I really have no idea how I managed that. Note the engine grease on her face.

First hat, first time using circular needles, first big project, first time I sent something I don't really think is good enough to swap.  I could not figure out how to correct this dropped stitch until I had changed colors, then I figured it was to late.  Can you fix a dropped stitch after you switch colors?  I wouldn't have sent it, but on one of the websites it said that some people purposely put mistakes in (make it look more rustic I guess).  I think girl a liked it though.

This was kinda to make up for the oppsie on the hat.  The colors are very dark in these pics.  The pattern is from SewPixie's organizer tutorial.  The stars on both fabrics are shiny, and I just had to embroidery the "Shiny" on it because of girl a's avatar.

So glad you liked them all girl a!
