anyone ever been?  i saw a flyer for it at hobby lobby today and i'll probably go check it out on saturday.  their website is www.sew-n2.com  sounds pretty spiffy, no?

*EDIT*
i just went, and while the store is tiny, you have to go!  she is sooo sweet and has lots of yarn and roving too.  and it really is just $6 an hour to use the machines, thread and help included.  they're all kenmores, which makes me happy because we've always had kenmores and i lurve them.  all in all, pretty fabulous. i think i just found my new favorite place!   Grin

I just went there yesterday, and I have to second the cuteness of it. I'll be going back.

I totally forgot about this thread.  She's moved to campus corner across from Hideaway, and she *might* still rent machines.  I haven't been to her store in awhile, but the girls in my knitting group tell me it is an explosion of yarn.  Not much use to you since you don't knit.  I think there's still a bead store in campus corner though.

When I drove down Gray St yesterday, I noticed a new building (like across from the backside of the old hobby lobby) that has a sign that says "Yarn & Loops" and "Coming June 2007", does anyone know what that is? I googled it and didnt come up with anything.
It is kinda a big building, if anyone knows anything let me know.

I saw that building too.  What else could it be but a yarn store?  I have dreams of it being a store/studio.  One floor to shop, one to craft.  How awesome would that be?  Watch it turn out to be some designer clothing store now that I've said that.

That is totally what I was thinking or wishing for! I will start asking around and see what I can find out.

I have a tidbit of info.  One of the girls in my knitting group was looking at some yarn online, and it listed Yarn & Loops as a store that carried it.  Maybe it's a chain store?
