Science, knitting, ranting, and sex.  Not always in that order, and often all at once.

Look for me on ravelry!  Hey, that rhymed!

Oh, I have many! Wool-Tyme, Yarn Forward & Sew-On, Knit Knackers and Well-Spun Yarns are the main ones.

Yay another Ottawa knitter! I love Yarn Forward but I usually just go to Carlingwood Mall because it's closer. Grin

w00t, I got Delaware!  We're small, but there's good yarn-ness.

in Northern DE:
Stitches with Style
Knit2/Purl2, the yarn website, is also central to here, though they don't have an actual "store"

Down at the Beach we have:
Sea Needles
Knitty Gritty
Ginger Moon (though I don't think this is all yarn)

Unwind

Knit one, Purl One

Black Sheep Knittery

I've never heard of Knit One, Purl One -- is it in the valley?

I also like Unwind and Black Sheep Knittery, but my favorite LYS is A Mano Yarn Center.  Other good ones in LA:

Stitch Cafe
Wildfiber
Sit 'n' Stitch

Ewe Asked For It.

Cute, huh?

So I read through the entire thread and this is by far my favorite!!

We only have one little yarn shop out here in my podunk town. Sad It's a lovely shop though, and everyone is so nice!
The Tail Spinner

Actually there is also one that is about 20 mins  away, but I just heard there isn't much there. It's called "Phootsy's"?? Don't ask. Wilmington supposedly has scads of nice little yarn shops, but I haven't checked yet.

In the Lansing, Michigan area:

Threadbear Fiber Arts (special daylight ighting! huge selection! the NICEST and knowledgeable helpers! lots of patterns made up so you can see what the article really looks like! special groups! movie and pizza on first Saturdays!)

Davidson's Old Mill Yarn, Eaton Rapids - it's a REAL old mill right on the river, displays of old and new spinning wheels, barrells of roving, sometimes you can find an old-fashioned book or tool that's just what you need

Yarn for Ewe, Okemos

Rae's Yarn, Lansing by Frandor Shopping center
